Private islands, Sports Illustrated beauties, and the date from hell: Welcome to Anguilla, baby!!

FINALLY!  This is the episode I have been waiting for all season.  I won't spoil it for you...but let's just say I took great pleasure in watching some this episode for many reasons.  After seeing the island of Anguilla, I am definitely adding it to my list of tropical places to visit.  I don't envy Brad...he has had some serious emotional basket cases to deal with this season, but at least he is getting down to the wire and weeding out the women he doesn't see a future with.  For the most part, is very smart about the decisions he has made.  Grab your martini glasses and let's get down to some happy hour dishing and hissing!!

With 6 women left in the house, this week's dates are especially important, as they will determine who will be selected for the hometown dates the following week.  Brad and the women travel to Anguilla, and the island is gorgeous and the perfect place for some serious romance!  This week, there will be 3 1-1 dates, with no roses handed out, and one group date, with one rose to be given out.

Emily receives the first 1-1 date, and they head to a private island.  Brad wants to use this time to let Emily know how he is feeling.  He explains that he is still very nervous around her, and fumbles all of his words.  She explains that she is afraid of having her heart broken, and Brad responds by telling her how much he cares for her.  In fact, he tells her that he cares for her more than he should probably say.  I love that they were able to watch the sun set and watch the moon rise, as well.  Very romantic setting and who doesn't love a gorgeous sunset with a great looking man!

They continue their date on the beach at night over dinner and talk about whether or not Brad will meet her daughter if she receives a hometown date.  Emily admits this is the best part of her date with Brad...having him open up to her about his feelings.  She tells him that she has never introduced her daughter to anyone she has dated, and Brad tells her he would love to meet her.  Emily is scared, but Brad goes as far as telling her that she will receive a rose at the next ceremony and that "we're going to your hometown."

That blew my mind, as no bachelor has ever admitted to a bachelorette that she would receive a rose.  Emily...let the man meet your daughter!  Obviously, he cares enough to put himself out there for you...:)  The date ends with some sweet kisses, but it's more than just a kiss for Brad, who says he doesn't want to leave their date.  Maybe this is because she's the only woman on the show who hasn't freaked him out with psychotic behaviour, crying fits or late night trips to his room.  ;)

The second 1-1 date is with Shawntel, who gets to explore the island and hang out with the locals and Brad.   The date starts pretty slow and boring, with a bike ride into town, drinking out of coconuts and playing backgammon with the locals.  I know that Brad is using this date to see Shawntel's playful side, but compare it to Emily's date, and it puts me to sleep!  Over a picnic lunch, though, Shawntel tells Brad she's falling in love with him, which kicks the date up a notch.

Over dinner at night, it's evident that the two of them have a connection.  Brad opens up to her about his father, which he never does with anyone.  The date turns romantic as they start kissing wile the rain falls on the water.  The date turns into a concert with a famous singer from the Caribbean and a huge crowd of people.  Interesting end to a date, and much better than backgammon any day!!  I hope Brad goes back to Chico with Shawtntel and sees where she works!! ;)

The final 1-1 date is with Britt, who has yet to ave a private date with Brad.  The ladies are jealous as Brad takes her away in a private yacht for a day of fun!  Now that's what I'm talking about!!  Treat a lady with the finer things, P-Diddy style! (lol)  Michelle feels that he is wasting the yacht on Britt, and doesn't see them friending each other on Facebook, much less dating.  Meow!  Want a saucer of milk to go with that catty attitude, Michelle?  All I have to say is that I will do some serious dancing when this crazy bird gets kick out of the nest!!  :(

Brad is excited to finally have some time with Britt, as he feels they are so far behind the other women regarding the connection he has made with the others.  He takes Britt diving off rocks and into the ocean, which terrifies her.  She finally faces her fears and jumps, which makes Brad very proud of her.

Unfortunately for Britt, Brad feels no romantic connection with Britt on the date and he has zero desire to kiss her like he does the other women when he is with them.  He sees no future with her, and no spark.  He thinks really highly of her and wanted to spend a day with her to see if they had any kind of connection to build upon.  At dinner, he tells her that there is no romantic spark or connection, and that he must say goodbye to her.  Britt is very gracious about it, and leaves in a small boat.

Britt goes back to the resort to pack and had to face the other women and explain what happened on the date.  I thought that was the worst part of the night...having to face the others after being rejected by Brad.  ABC, you'll do anything for ratings!  Tacky and such a low blow on your part...

The final date of the week is a 3-1 with Chantel, Ashley and Michelle.  He wakes them up very early and says they only have 10 minutes to get ready.  They find out they will be doing a swimsuit photo shoot for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue!  Michelle is excited, but Chantel is very nervous, as she feels less glamorous and in shape than the other women.

Ashley gets right into the photo shoot and also takes her bikini top and puts coconuts on her chest, which I gave her mad props for!  if you're going to be in the swimsuit issue, milk it for all it's worth!  That's a once in a lifetime opportunity for anyone who is not a supermodel.  Chantel also rises to the occasion and whips off her top.  I think she didn't want to be outdone by Ashley...lol.  Michelle takes the ballsy move of the day by posing on top of Brad and making out with him for the camera.  Clearly, the other women are painfully uncomfortable, and Brad sees the date going south as a result.  He blames himself for that, as Michelle became overly aggressive and out of control by making the others so jealous.

At the pool party, Brad says the day has been absolute hell.  He takes Ashley away for some 1-1 time and she wants to be sure his personality meshes with hers.  She tells him that watching Michelle all over him made her feel like his kid sister.  Ouch...no romance in that response!  Brad says his feelings for her have not changed, and feels awful for making her feel that way.

During the 1-1 time with Chantal, she tells Brad she felt shut out from the date, and wants to knowl how he feels about the possibility of meeting her family.  She also says she still loves him, but is feeling very disconnected after today's date.

Brad pulls Michelle away for 1-1 time, and says he's scared they are too much alike.  She is digging herself into a watery grave very slowly...here's hoping the girl gets the boot soon!!!

In the end, Brad gives the rose to Ashley, who happily accepts.  He tells her he cares more for her than he can say and can't wait to meet her family!  Needless to say, the other women are very upset and it's a brutal end to a difficult day.  As Ashley and Michelle head back to their rooms, Brad talks to a crying Chantel, who tells him that if  he can't choose her from a group of three women, he should send her home.  Brad tells her not to count herself out of everything yet.  The drama is making me gag, and I personally wish she would stop acting like a child!!  :(

At the cocktail party, Chantel admits that it was hard to see Ashley receive the rose, and Shawntel says she is really nervous about what will happen tonight.  Brad and Chris deliberate, and Brad requests that they skip the cocktail party, as he already knows who he wants to send home and doesn't need extra time to change his mind.  The girls are shocked when Chris advises them of the party being skipped and going straight to the rose ceremony.

With Britt already sent home and Ashley being the only woman with a rose, the remaining roses go to:

Emily, Shawntel and Chantel.  Michelle is sent packing...whoohoo!!  I could NOT be happier.  Ding dong, the witch is going home.  Took way too long, but at least she is gone.  Michelle is very upset about being sent packing, but Brad thinks she is too volatile for him, and that their intense connection would eventually fade away.  She refuses to talk to him as he walks her to the limo.  In my opinion...good riddance!

That's all for this installment!  I am so excited for the hometown dates, as I am sure you are, as well.  no doubt we will have tons to dish about next time.  As always, thanks for all of your feedback and comments.  I am beyond happy that so many people read and follow my blog, and am very excited to say that I officially had over 1000 visits to the blog since it began.  Thanks so much for this.  It's due to your interest and support that I wrote this blog, and am loving that you take the time to read and comment to me about it!

Until next time...XO

PS...I have to give a huge shout out to two very lovely ladies, Shannon Hunter and Ally Lesniak.  They put on a fabulous event on February 10th in Toronto called Love a Heart, which was a bachelor/bachelorette auction.  Through this event, they raised $9,000.00 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation!!  Congratulations Shannon and Ally.  You are amazing, I'm very proud of you, and happy to have met you and call you my friends.  Stay tuned for a special blog post about this event later this week!!  XO

Zip lines, bugging out and meetings at the altar: love, Costa Rican style!!

Hello everyone!  Wow, I don't know about you, but I wanted to strap Michelle onto that zip line cable and whip her back to the USA!  What a head case she is!  I hope Brad is watching these episodes and wondering why the meds didn't wear off sooner, so that the tribe could have spoken sooner to vote Michelle into crazyville!  LOL.  Hope you all enjoyed this episode of The Bachelor.  It had everything that your typical reality show should posess...the token rain scene on the date, the girl looking hot in the white men's shirt, Risky Business style, the girl deathly afraid of bugs, and the token babes in bikinis!  All that's missing is your drink.  What are you waiting for!? Go get it and let the dissing and hissing begin!!  ;)

The next chapter of Brad's journey for love takes him and the ladies to Costa Rica.  After the girls settled into a pimped out suite, they find out that the first 1-1 date is with Chantal.  Naturally, our resident bachelorettezilla, Michelle, loses it again and shows her true colours by saying "I hope Chantal gets attacked by monkeys or apes."  Hmm...and you're someone's mother!?  The woman needs a dose of reality...or Prozac....and a good therapist.  I feel sorry for her daughter.

Brad and Chantel go ziplining on their 1-1 date, and it starts pouring rain while they are outside.  Why is it that every time these two have a date, it's monsoon season!?  LOL.  I guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...and a little rain never hurt anyone.  The two of them enjoy a romantic picnic in the evening, and Brad gives Chantel one of his white shirts to wear.  I'm sure Brad would have loved to watched Chantel in her wet clothes instead, but then she would have ended up in an emergency room with some crazy illness from beong wet and cold.  Chantel works the shirt and nothing else to her advantage, and Brad ends up giving her a rose and sharing what he calls the perfect evening with her.  Chantel says this is the night she fell in love with Brad.

I like Chantel, but the constant whining and crying is starting to get to me.  She's independent, feisty, and keeps Brad on his toes, which are all great things.  What gets to me is that she constantly challenges him to send her home if he thinks he doesn't see her at the end of the journey.  Sweetheart...last time I checked, this was a show where 30 women compete for the affection and love of ONE man.  He obviously can't tell you that he loves you and send the others home early!  I'm getting tired of the crying scenes every week.  Hopefully, she'll throw out the kleenex soon and be confident in the fact that she's still there because he likes her and wants to get to know her better.

The second date of the week is a group date, and naturally, Michelle is stuck on it and complains about how much she hates the group dates.  She also wonders a) why Chantel came home in Brad's shirt! , and b) why Chantel is still there, since Brad is her man.  Ummm..did I miss the memo on this?  Did something happen while I away from the TV, and Brad decided to save himself for only Michelle?  This girl needs to buy a clue, or get voted off the island...pronto!  :(

For the group date, Brad decides to have a day where it's all about adventure and facing fears.  What better way to do this than by rapelling down a waterfall?  All the cool kids are doing it!!  Unfortunately, Jackie is deathly afraid of heights, and has trouble with getting excited about the challenge of rapelling.  Michelle, on the other hand, doesn't want to do it, as she made a pact with Brad on their 1-1 date that they wouldn't do this with anyone else, so she gets whiny for the millionth time.

Shawntel volunteers to go first, which earns bonus points with Brad.  He's an adventurous person, and wants to see who in the group would be compatible with him in this area.  Jackie, however, is another story.  The girl is completely freaked out about rapelling down the waterfall, but finally does it with some encouragement from Brad.  This puts Michelle over the edge, as she thinks Jackie is a drama queen.  umm...hello extra large pot calling the kettle black!!!  This girl is more drama than every soap opera, telenovela and reality show across the globe!  I need to be sedated to watch all of Michelle's scenes...or at the very least, a healthy top-up of my vino of choice to get through her bitching!  Much to my disgust, Brad rapelled down the waterfall with Michelle, and managed to hurt the rest of the girls' feelings in the process.  Can you see this date going downhill fast??

Brad takes the girls to a hot springs area for their evening date, but the mood is spoiled by the rose looming in the distance.  Brad takes Emily away for 1-1 time, and she tells him that she likes him, but it's scary, as she tends to run away from guys she really likes.  Emily, sweetheart, I really like you and I think you're by far the best woman on the show...but never tell a man you are on a show for that you run AWAY from men you like.  That's called a 'no-no'.  Naturally, this worries Brad, and he encourages her by saying he wants her to stay and not sabotaging what's going on with them.  I wondered why he didn't just give her a dozen roses at this point.  He's practically saying 'you're safe...play your cards right, and I'll see you at the end!'

I have to mention quickly what happened back at the villa during the group date.  Alli and Chantel were there, and a HUGE beetle ended up inside.  Alli is deathly afraid of bugs, and Chantel decided to have fun with this by taking the beetle and scaring her with it.  It was a little bit funny, but as someone who isn't a fan of creepy little buggers, if I was Alli, I would have found a way for the beetle and Chantel to become bed time buddies...LOL!!

Back at the hot springs, Michelle is still jealous about Chantel wearing Brad's shirt, and called him out on that during her 1-1 time.  Brad, of course, didn't want to talk about Chantel, but Michelle doesn't know how to let go of anything, even a white shirt.  If I was Brad, I woould have sent her home at that point, instead of letting his physical attraction dictate the fact that she stayed...but that's just me.  In the end, Brad was not confident on who should receive a rose, and decided not to hand one out.  This is what happens when you don't play nice as adults, ladies.  Instead of a time out in the naughty corner, you go home roseless!  Lesson learned...hopefully.

The final date of the week is a 1-1 with Alli and Brad.  The date card says 'Meet me at the altar', which freaks everyone out.  Brad and Alli take off on horses, and head to a cave that is over 40 million years old.  Poor Alli is also afraid of what will be inside the cave, which is filled with bugs and bats.  This date isn't getting off to a promising start!  Eventually, they end up at an underground waterfall, with a natural stairway leading them to 'the altar', and a private picnic.  Brad is using this date to find if he can see himself with Alli at the altar at the end of his journey.

Later in the evening, the two enjoy a poolside dinner back at the resort, but it's pretty clear that Brad doesn't feel a romantic connection with Alli.  There is none of the spark he feels with Chantel, the animal magnetism he has with Michelle, or the romantic connection he has with Emily.  Ironically, Alli tells Brad her last relationship ended because she didn't see herself with him on their wedding day.  Here is Brad's chance to back out of the date gracefully!!  Brad tells Alli there is no connection between them, that he likes her as a friend, and sees himself hanging out with her, but that's all.  She cries, but thanks him for his honesty.  (I always hate when the girls cry!!)  She is sent home, and the girls see someone come pick up Alli's luggage, so they know what has happened.

Brad takes off to his room for some downtime after a tough week,  but Michelle sneaks off to join him.  She tells im how much she misses him, how sending Alli home was a good idea, and lists the order that he should send the remaining women home.  I have to say she has balls of steel, but I can't wait for the day she is sent packing, as well!!  :(

At the cocktail party the next night, it's obvious that Brad has had a tough week, and gets called out by the women for not handing out a rose on the group date.  He tells Emily that thinks of her a lot, but is scared of her.  I would be too, if I kept comparing myself to a ghost of a fiance!  I adore Emily, but they have to stop playing up the Ricky card.  The man is gone, he's not coming back, and she needs to move on and be happy again!!  She also apologizes to Brad for what she said about running away from relationships and clears the air with him.

Brad has 1-1 time with Michelle, and tells her that she is scaring him badly.  He feels that they have taken 10 steps back and she freaks out.  No kidding...tone it down, sista!  You're not the only game on the island.  When is the damn tribe going to speak out on her!?

The women call Michelle out for possibly saying something in private to Brad, and find out that she snuck off to his room and addressed the rose issue.  Chantel is disgusted and no longer wants to talk to Michelle.  I personally think this girl is digging her own grave...it's just a matter of time!!

Chantel uses her 1-1 time to tell Brad she is in love with him and doesn't expect anything in return...not words or a rose.  She just wants to lay it out for him and say how she feels.  Naturally, he is happy and says she made his night, turning his day around.

Finally, we arrive at the rose ceremony.  The only girl with a rose is Chantel.  The remaining roses go to:

Ashley, Emily, Britt, Shawntel and Michelle.  Jackie is the second woman to be sent home that week.

That's it for this episode.  Hope you tune in for the next installment of the Bachelor blog!  Thanks for the comments and emails...they make me smile so much!  Have a great week!!

Until next time...XO

Shopping Sprees, Racecar Beauties and Cirque de Heartbreak...It's All About Vegas, Baby!!

Hello party people!  What an episode.  My head was spinning with all of the crazy turn of events that took place in Sin City! I went from being insanely jealous of Shawntel's Pretty Woman shopping experience at the mall, to feeling uncomfortable watching Emily struggle with the date at Las Vegas Speedway, and disappointed for Ashley S. and her sad exit from the quest for Brad's heart.  Personally, I think the wrong Ashley was sent home, but I'm not the one who is searching for a potential wife or partner on a reality show.  In any event, there's lots to dish about.  It's happy hour...grab your drinks and let the hissing begin!!

At the mansion, the girls are told by Chris Harrison that they are leaving the house and leaving on a journey to find love elsewhere.  They have an hour to pack and get ready to leave for Las Vegas!  Nice place to start a world tour for love, in my opinion .  For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of heading to Sin City, Las Vegas is a party paradise.  Tons of beautiful hotels, casinos, nightlife, shopping and attractions.  The girls met up with Brad at the new Aria resort at City Center and were told that everyone would have a date this week.  There would be a 1-1 date, a group date, and the dreaded 2-1 date.  The first date was a 1-1 date, which went to Shawntel.

I don't know of ANY woman in the free world who wouldn't be jealous of Shawntel's 1-1 date with Brad.  Crystals at the City Center is filled with some of the most luxurious brands of retailers, and Shawntel was able to pick anything she wanted on her private shopping spree!  I don't know about you, but I drooled over her black Fendi dress and killer black stilettos.  Having a sexy man to model everything for is definitely icing on a very decadent cake!

I thought it was classy of Brad to do such a nice thing for Shawntel.  She is a girl from a small town and very sweet and unassuming.  The fact that she was overwhelmed and grateful for everything he gave her shows the type of person she is, and that's she isn't completely wrapped up in materialistic things.  She is a lucky girl, and she knows it.  Nice to see.

I felt bad for Shawntel when she had to go back to the luxury suite and tell the girls about her extravagant shopping date.  Michelle had yet another Exorcist moment when her head spun around with jealousy over another woman being pampered and capturing Brad's attention.  I am sure that I would have been a little green with envy if I had to watch another women pull out a $5,000 purse that her date picked up for her.  The deal sealer was when Shawntel came down the staircase in that ridiculously hot black Fendi dress and killer stilettos.  Dressed to kill, and a hot guy on her arm for the night.  Not too shabby for a funeral director!  ;)

Which brings me to the next topic for discussion between Brad and Shawntel.  Over dinner on the roof at Aria, Brad asked Shawntel about her job, and she went into great detail about her career as a funeral director and embalmer.  Brad was ridiculously uncomfortable, not being able to eat dinner as she described a 'vein drain' to him (draw a picture, figure out what she meant!!).  Between that and describing her cross-eyed cat, Peaches, I wondered if this conversation was going to take a romantic turn to get back on track!!

Fortunately, Brad thinks he is very lucky to be around Shawntel and spend time with her, and offers her a rose to stay, which she accepts.  He thinks they have a basis for a very real and true relationship to develop.  They end the date with a private fireworks show on the roof, which the other bachelorettes see, as well, and know that it's for Brad and Shawntel.

The next date is a group date.  The girls are taken by limo to Las Vegas Motor Speedway to race cars around the track.  Brad shows up in full racing gear, and the girls are excited to hit the track.  Naturally, everyone is worried about Emily, and Brad has yet to find out her history with NASCAR.  The ladies get dressed in racing gear and take turns racing around the track, and Brad notices how quiet Emily is.  I bet he'll feel like an idiot once he finds out why she has been so quiet!  I still can't believe the show made her go through with this date, but as well all know, all is fair in love, drama and high ratings!

Brad finds out from Emily that her late fiance was a NASCAR driver, and that he crashed at that same track, ending his racing career.  Naturally, Brad feels horrible and tells her that if she's not comfortable being there, they will all leave immediately.  He admires her tenacity and cares a great deal for her.  Not only does she want to stay, she gets in the car and drives several laps around the track.  The first laps are for Ricky, and the last one is for her.  She does this as a sign that she is ready to move on and fall in love again.  In case you all forgot...I adore this girl.  She is pure class and I have tons of respect for her.  She's not going anywhere this week after this!!  :)

Later in the evening, Brad and the ladies have an after party and are hanging out in the pool.  Alli's crying for attention from Brad, and Brad's still worrying about Emily.  Emily is proud of herself for going through with the laps around the track, but Brad is concerned about the space needed to fill Emily's heart after Ricky passed away.  Because of this, she's worried he's pulling away from her.

In the middle of all of this, I love when Chantal lets the word 'love' slip out while she's talking to Brad.  Sweetheart...it's WAY too early to play the 'L' card!  The man is still dating a harem of women!  He won't reciprocate for a while...keep the cards close to you for now!

It wouldn't be a group date without Michelle stealing Brad for some private time.  She tells Brad that the other girls are immature and that she has a crush on him.  He tells her he feels the same way, and thinks they have a true connection.  Enter a little gag time here...lol!  I wish he was seeing what we get stuck watching every week.  He would have shipped her home weeks ago!

In the end, the rose goes to Emily.  He tells her he doesn't care about her past - he is basing his decision on what's happening now, and that he's falling for her, which makes her happy.  I know this is sappy...but I don't care!  I love that she got the rose and he took the time to make sure she was comfortable on the date.  It's more than ABC did after making her go to the racetrack!

The last date is the 2-1 date with the two Ashleys. This is going to be a tough date, as the two Ashleys have become best friends in the house.  However, with a man involved in the picture, all's fair in love and dating!!  While Brad is excited for the date, he also has serious doubts about both of them, as well.  Brad takes the Ashleys to a Cirque du Soleil show, to test the chemistry between himself and the girls, and to figure out who will star in the show with him later in the evening.

The girls rehearse with Brad for the show, and Ashley S. feels very vulnerable and holds back.  As a result, Brad decides at dinner to send Ashley S. home and give Ashley H. a rose.  He tells her that he doesn't see a future with her and he had to follow his heart.  He sends Ashley S. home, and says that Ashley H. helped him solidify why he's on this journey again for love.  They perform together in the evening show for Cirque du Soleil.  Cue the mushy and sappy end to the night...:)

I felt so bad for Ashley S. when she was crying as the limo took her back to the airport, but I understand Brad's point of view.  He's there to find love and possibly a future wife, and needs to weed out the women who he doesn't see a future with.  He says he has an intense connection with Ashley H., and she obviously cares for him too.  I personally would have sent the little freak on a leash crybaby home, but it's not my show or my season to find love!  We'll see what happens down the road.

At the cocktail party the next night, Brad has to deal with a room full of emotional women.  They're all dealing with the extra attention he gave to Emily on her date, and are concerned.  Brad talks to Chantal about how she cried on their last date, and he's concerned about having drama in his life if he was to be with her.  He explains why he comforted Emily at the racetrack, and what she told him about her history with NASCAR.  He also tells her how he likes being around her, but she needs to stop giving him crap so often.  Chantal tells him that every woman on the date with Emily felt exactly the same way she does now.

I really like Chantal, but she is extremely emotional and cries on a dime.  For a very attractive, confident woman, she can be really overdramatic.  I would see that as a red flag if I were Brad.  Drama mamas are never a good thing!!

Did anyone else think it was cute that Marissa wrote Brad a note and gave it to him to read during their 1-1 time?  I thought it was sweet...and she was vulnerable giving it to him, which shows she likes him.  Cute...but a bit like high school, where you send notes asking if a person likes you...

The Fatal Attraction moment of the week goes to...wait for it...no really, wait for it!!...Michelle...again.  Did anyone else think she was a raving lunatic when she told Brad not to talk, then straddles him and says he needs someone who appreciates everything about him.  She then proceeds to say how much she dislikes the other girls, kisses him, then tells him to go out and go send some girls home.  THEN, on top of that, she says "Next time we're together, you can talk."  Ummm...can you say delusional!?  WOW!  Get a muzzle, and a padded wagon...the girl needs to be committed!  If someone ever spoke to me that way, there would be a raging smackdown!  I guess that ABC didn't approve of the smackdown...maybe it ended up on the cutting room floor.  Brad...get a clue...and send the single white space cadet home...please.  Then you can talk again...;)

Finally, we get to the rose ceremony.  I feel like this episode was a week long!  Shawntel, Emily and Ashley H. already have roses.  The remaining roses go to:

Michelle, Alli, Britt, Jackie, and Chantal O.

Marissa, Lisa and Ashley S (who was sent home on the 2-1 date) do not receive roses.  What you don't see  on the show is when Marissa left, Brad slipped her a note as well, thanking her, and how he believed that she would find someone special.  I read about this on Chris Harrison's blog, and thought that was very sweet!  Another thing I read about is on this episode, 5 of the women went off to get tattoos!!  Ashley H, Ashley S, Marissa, Lisa, and Alli decided to go out and get tattoos. The two Ashleys got matching roses right above their ankles. Ashley S got hers in blue to honor her father (Kentucky bluegrass). Lisa got a rose tattoo below her ankle. Marissa got a white rose on her wrist. Alli chickened out — or wised up, depending on how you look at it — and didn’t get one. Yes, this sounds like Kasey and when he snuck off to get a tattoo on Ali's season of The Bachelorette, but clearly, this is about bonding and girl power.  To each their own!

That's it for this week's most dramatic episode ever!.  Thanks for your feedback, emails, comments and giggles.  I love to hear from you., so please feel free to drop me a line anytime!  I apologize for posting this so late, but sometimes life has a way of sneaking up on me and making me insanely busy!  I will try not to be this late again...ever!!

Until next time...XO
